Session Summary

This session focused on seeing the mathematical work of teaching, interpreting student thinking, and considering teaching practices. It also launched work on a mathematics problem, the Pool Border Problem.

In the next session the Pool Border Problem will serve as the basis for exploring mathematical explanations and the use of video workshops to support the teaching and learning of mathematical practices.
