Overview

Session 1 focused on seeing the mathematical work of teaching, interpreting student thinking, and considering teaching practices.

Session 2 extends the work from Session 1. The session focuses on:

  • Explaining and evaluating approaches for solving the Pool Border Problem
  • Examining students’ reasoning on the Pool Border Problem and the work that teachers do to nurture an environment that supports students’ reasoning
  • Identifying the steps of a video workshop
