Overview

This part marks the first instance of using video workshop in the module. Individual teachers share their videos with a small group of colleagues with the purpose of using a specific instance of the work to learn about teaching and expand insight into student thinking.

Key Points

Video workshop is a way for teachers to share their professional knowledge and their work. Just as students are asked to share their mathematical work to encourage their learning, sharing video of teaching with colleagues creates a powerful opportunity for teachers to learn.
