Session 7 advances work from the previous session on mathematical explanations and video workshops. The session focuses on:

• Considering ways that a teacher can capitalize on the explanations that students share
• Engaging in a third video workshop with a focus on the content of students’ explanations and ways to support students’ engagement in reasoning and/or mathematical practices
