In our last week of Inspiring Global Leaders, students continued their Nigerian Oil simulation. The simulation became more tense as the deadline to pass a proposal grew closer. A coup was threatened against the Nigerian government as it couldn’t make any decisions and was in crisis. There was also a protest against Shell Oil, with some students chanting “Shell No!,” when the company refused to listen to anyone else’s demands. They also finished their own original country projects, played Kahoot! about their countries, and shared them at Open House. They ended their Summer Programs with Water Play Day. Thank you for a great summer!
