Learn the basics of animation in this hands-on media class. In our beginning animation studio, students will work together in groups to become storytellers and animators as they learn the fundamental principles of animation. Students will be introduced to photography and storytelling techniques as they create stop motion animation projects using a variety of materials, including Lego, clay, drawings, and more. Projects are compiled on the computer, where students create their own high-definition movies complete with music, dialogue, and sound effects.
