It&#8217;s amazing to see how much they&#8217;re learning.\u00a0 Be sure to ask your child to show you their amazing work!<\/p>\n<h4>Minecraft: A Virtual Learning Adventure<\/h4>\n<p><span data-sheets-value=\"{&quot;1&quot;:2,&quot;2&quot;:&quot;For Week #3 the Minecraft class did a week long project: creating an amusement park. Everyday was a new assignment, sometime two assignments. By the end of the week all amusement parks included: a front gate (where customers will buy tickets, stand in line to get in, and other things like bag checks or temperature checks). Around the front gate the students put little stands\/stores in the beginning where people can get things before they enter their amusement park. Students also added a picture area with cameras so people can take pictures at the front of their amusement park. The second assignment was a restaurant with outside and inside sitting areas to eat. And a to-go area where people can order food and take it to go to eat around the amusement park.\\n\\nTuesday's Amusement Park assignment was building their first ride: the roller coaster. Students were instructed to build a big roller coaster with hills and big turns. The second assignment was to add a bumper cars area using an ice rink &amp; row boats\\n\\nWednesday's assignment was to create any type of water park ride for the amusement park. Again the students were instructed to make a complex water ride with multiple slides, tunnel slides, multiple levels, and a pool at the bottom. \\n\\nThursday's assignment was to add a ferris wheel to the amusement park. Students made it as huge as possible and were instructed to add 6 carts minimum on the wheel. All the carts should be different colors and big enough for people to sit in. Unfortunately because of the hard difficulty the ferris wheel doesn't move - it will just be a decorative ferris wheel.\\n\\nFriday's assignment was to add a game zone are to the amusement park, with a three game minimum. Students created carnival games like: ring toss, ping pong ball throw, shooting galleries, and even a horse race. Unfortunately making the ferris wheel move in Minecraft is hard, so ours we stationary &#8211; it will just be a decorative ferris wheel.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it was Friday!\u00a0 Today&#8217;s assignment was to add a game zone to our amusement park. We had to design three games, minimum. We used our imagination to create carnival games like: ring toss, ping pong ball throw, shooting galleries, and even a horse race.
