Session Summary

This session is the first of three that will focus on the measurement of length. It focused on exploring length measurement, analyzing how length measurement is represented in standards for student learning, naming key concepts of measurement, and observing how students’ engagement in measurement illustrate those concepts.

The next session will focus on a developmental progression for learning length measurement and illustrate how key concepts are shown when students measure length.
