Overview

Session 2 focused on the learning trajectory for length measurement and introduced the levels of the developmental progression for learning length. This session starts with a brief review of these levels, using video of students’ work on length measurement tasks.

This session inculdes

  • Discussion of students’ work on the length assessments and the anecdotal notes you took
  • Work on the third part of the length learning trajectory—instructional activities
  • Review of the mathematics of length measurement
