Session Summary

Session 6 is the first of three that will focus on the measurement of volume. It focused on exploring volume measurement and different measures of volume, unpacking the mathematics involved in measuring volume, and analyzing how volume measurement is represented in standards for student learning.

The next session will focus on a developmental progression for learning volume measurement and illustrate how key concepts are shown when students measure volume.
