After a stormy week three it has been a very sunny week four! This week our class dove back into sports and games like Soccer, Ultimate Football, and balance Junk-Ken-Po. We also learned how to play kickball as well as the traditional Makahiki game of Pa`ume`ume. In this game, students challenged each other to a mini-tug of war. Traditionally this game is played with a woven rope and challengers balance on rocks while playing tug of war. Our class played on plastic domes and with long jump ropes. The students really enjoyed learning about our Native Hawaiian games.
