In the beginning of the week, the class built boats from tin foil in an effort to hold the most pennies in a competition. If kiddos completed the penny challenge, they got to build even bigger boats – to hold marbles! Midweek, students created towers from sheets of paper to see who could create the tallest structure. Closing out the week with paper chains, students learned how to make longer pieces while utilizing the same amount of paper and tape.
