Drama: Summer Stars on Stage
This first week, our young actors and actresses performed skits and participated in acting and vocal exercises with a focus on projection and overcoming stage fright. They acted out fairytale stories, performed them in front of the class, gave constructive criticism, and are currently working on improving their pieces. Courtney M. said, “My favorite skit of the week was Little Red Riding Hood.” Paige P. explained, “I learned that you never face your back to the audience, what an audition is, and how to use no words to make skits.”
