This week the Observers learned all about the marine life. To start off this fun-filled week we visited the Waikiki Aquarium where the kids got to see some of the native fish that we have on our beautiful island. They also had the opportunity to touch some live hermit crab and sea urchins. For the rest of the week, we continued to learn about other sea animals, specifically the puffer fish. The kids did a fun arts & craft activity and made their own puffer fish. To end off this week, we visited the Makapu’u tide pools. We saw a lot of brittle sea stars, sea cucumbers, sea urchin, baby fish, and different types of crabs. It was a fun filled week!
