Inspiring Global Leaders presented research on countries they were assigned during Week 1. After each presentation, students participated in fun Kahoot! quizzes, nudging the competition out of the way! Students also learned about international relations, immigration and refugees, and global health issues in contemporary society. Through virtual simulations that included making tough decisions to flee the country (e.g. pack an xbox or clothes, taking a car or ship, etc.), and by playing the role of an infectious disease attempting to plague the world, students further learned about world politics and problems. The week ended with students working on a second round of country presentations by creating country flags and more Kahoot! quizzes.
