Thank you for choosing to spend your summer with CRDG Summer Programs. We understand that there is a lot of concern regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). At CRDG Summer Programs, the safety of our students, faculty, and staff is our highest priority.
We are continually monitoring the latest updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), as well as from the University of Hawai‘i and the state and federal government.
Program Status:
Summer Programs is running as planned.
We understand that cancelling our program not only affects your child’s educational plans, but may also create a childcare conflict for many families. We are not taking this decision lightly. If we do make the difficult decision to cancel CRDG Summer Programs this year, we will notify parents by mail and email as soon as possible. We will work with you to either rollover your tuition payments to next summer or issue you a full refund.
International Student Update:

Over the last few days, the CDC has upgraded every country to a Level 2 travel advisory or higher due to COVID-19, even the United States. In light of this, we have lifted all registration restrictions. Instead, as we get closer to summer and can better evaluate the upcoming situation, we will implement health and safety policies to ensure that our students and employees are safe to attend. Thank you for your patience as we weather this crisis together.
Travel Notices:
If a student or any member of their household is travelling to any area outside of Hawai‘i with extensive COVID-19 outbreaks within 14-days of attending Summer Programs, please inform the SP office as soon as possible. We may require additional health clearances before the student is able to attend (or return to) class.
Revised Health Protocols:
This year Summer Programs will implement stricter policies regarding attendance while sick. Detailed information will be available closer to the start of the program, and the policy will be included in the student handbook mailed to each family. Additional precautions, such as quarantining students who display symptoms until they can go home, providing masks upon request, and encouraging proper hygiene, will be enforced.
