Wearable Art Gets “Happi” [Week 3]

This week we had a field trip to the Honolulu Museum of Art where we learned about three different art mediums and had a short interactive tour of some of the galleries in the museum. In class, we began constructing our “happi coats” or short-sleeve, lightweight, open-front jackets. We also made shrink dink accessories (mostly pendants and earrings).
