This week the students learned about insects and selected the one they would like to research. They also began their plant project to figure out which type of soil (sand, water, rock, or nutrient rich soil) grows the best plants. On Thursday, we went with the rest of the Hawaii Nature Study classes to the insect museum to learn more about our local insects and why the museum was created. Friday we competed in our weekly kickball game with the Little Journalist and Science Olympics classes. The students are excited to get to see the animals at the zoo next week Monday.
