This week in the Recycled Arts class, students learned different braiding techniques to use on their friendship bracelets and necklaces. Students also started collecting materials for their mural from the field outside of their classroom. Students in the Recycled Arts class experimented on their first round of Shrinky Dinks. Pieces of #6 plastic from used poke bowl covers were cut out and the students in the class drew unique designs on top of them. Ms. Fujii then used a heat gun to shrink the plastics into small keychains.
