Robotics with Lego EV3 Clears the Rubbish [Week 3]

This week our class continued working on clearing the board of all the assorted pieces of lego rubbish. This proved to be much more challenging than expected, and we saw many different iterations of each group’s design as they gradually adjusted their ideas to what they were observing on the board.  Some groups realized their design was too large, and had to scale it back in order to help their bot move across the field, while some groups made their design wider to cover more ground in a quicker manner. While all their designs may differ, one thing remained true for each group: stability and consistency were the keys to success.
