This week, our global leaders immersed themselves in a simulation about international whaling rights. They took on roles representing different countries in the International Whaling Commission, negotiating on whether to end a global moratorium on commercial whaling. They also continued to hone their research abilities with more country projects, culminating in fun Kahoot! quizzes at the end of the week. Students branched out by researching countries in South America, Africa, and Oceania and made colorful flags to accompany their research. They are excited for another week of simulations and projects!
