Hawai‘i’s Internet Safety Awards Program team receives the FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award

Hawai‘i’s Internet Safety Awards (ISA) Program team, on which Truc Nguyen has served for 5 years, receives the 2011 Director’s Community Leadership Award from the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the U.S. Department of Justice.  This year marks the 5th Internet Safety Awards Program.  Truc Nguyen is an Associate Specialist at the Curriculum Research & Development Group in the College of Education at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.  She has worked closely with ISA founders Chris Duque and Arnold Laanui to promote Internet safety in schools and local communities.
